Angioimmunoblastic Lyrnphadenopathy with Dysproteinemia -A Case Report-

Abstract

|
The 70 year old male patient pathologically proven angioimmunoblastic
lymphadenopathy with dysproteinemia(AILD) was reported with review of literatures.
Past history or family history was not contributory.
Etiologic factor was not found in this case.
Clinically, he was characterized by fever, night sweating, weight loss, generalized
Iymphadenopathy, hepatomegaly, maculopapular skin eruptions and polyclonal
hypergammaglobulinemia.
The histologic finding in Iymph node biopsy revealed pleomorphic cellular infiltrations
such as lymphocytes, plasmatoid cells and large cells having one or more nucleoli;
vascular proliferations; deposits of amorphorous eosinophilic interstitial materials.
The clinical course, immunologic abnormalities and histologic finding in lymph node
biosy justified our diagnosis of angioimmunoblastic lymphadenopathy(AILD), a new
entity described several years ago.
This report may be represent the tenth documentation of AILD in Korea.
